      <description>A Nordgen Forest conference will be held in Hallormsstaður in eastern Iceland on 17-18 September 2013. The conference theme is Northern Forests in a Changing Climate.
The conference will focus on possible developments in northern forest ecosystems in a changing climate and the potential influences on forestry practices. A special emphasis is on how a changing climate may influence our choices of tree species and provenances, now and in the future.</description>

More than 4,000 visitors, including architects, engineers, contractors and local authorities, attended in 2012. PEFC UK will be partnering with fellow PEFC members SFI and MTC to explain Chain of Custody certification and the benefits of sourcing timber from sustainably managed forests. As a timber showcase for construction and sustainable building design, the exhibition will seek to bring all of the complex supply-chain elements together in a comprehensive way.
